F.A.Q:

Welcome to The Weight Room Plus Wanda’s Workout. To help you feel at home from the start of your membership, here are some commonly asked questions when joining:

Q: Do I need to bring a membership card when using the club?
A: We will assign you a member number and give you a Member Key Tag.  When you enter the club, sign in and tell Front Desk staff your Member number. They will verify your membership to check you in.  Don’t worry if you don’t have your key tag or remember your number, we have your picture with your smiling face.

Q: Do I need a lock for a locker?
A: Yes. Please bring your own lock to secure your personal items. Lockers are available for daily use only.

Q: May I bring a guest?
A:Yes, members may bring guests to the Club for a nominal daily charge of $7 per day per person.  However, you may bring a guest who is a First time visitor, with photo ID, local resident and 18 years or older for FREE.  Since we are a private club, we ask you to escort your guest to the club. All Guests must be 18 years and older and must provide photo I.D.

Q: What do I get if I refer a friend who joins?
A: Since member referrals are our best source for new members, sponsoring members are rewarded with membership for each member they sponsor.

Q: How old does my child have to be to use the exercise equipment?
A: Children must be 14 and over to use any of the equipment in the fitness areas, including group fitness classes.  We do, however, run a Free Teen Summer Membership program starting at age 12.

Q: What is IHRSA?
A: IHRSA, International Health Racquet Association, is an association of quality clubs that offers our members to use over 9,400 clubs worldwide. When traveling using the IHRSA passport program is simple:

1. Ask a staff member for a valid passport I.D. card or a passport sticker for your driver’s license.

2. Visit www.healthclubs.com and click on find a club to search for an IHRSA club in the area youwill be traveling.

3. Call ahead to the club you’d like to visit to verify any guest fee that may apply, as well to
confirm the availability of facilities you plan on using.

4. Upon arrival, show your passport I.D. and you’re in!

Q: How do I get started on a fitness program? Will someone help me?
A: Because we realize results are your best indicator if we are the club for you, we give each new member a Gift Card with a value of over $200 worth of one on one Personal Training Services.  Soon after you join our Club we will schedule your 3 Personal Training Appointments, your Aero Pilates Reformer Session, your Group Fitness Learn the Moves Session and your Nutritional Counseling Session. Our certified trainers/dieticians are committed to helping you reach your fitness goals and learn how to use the equipment.  We are also pleased to offer UNLIMITED Beginner Basics sessions to make sure you know how to use the strength training circuit and all the cardio equipment.

Q: How do I sign up for group fitness classes?
A: Our Club offers over 40 group fitness classes per week. Almost all Group fitness classes do not require sign-up…just show up! The only exception is Cycle Class for our 21 bikes.  Click here to view the current class schedule.

Q. How do I know what to expect in group fitness classes, what equipment to use and if it’s suited for my needs?
A:  We will schedule a one on one complimentary appointment with our Group Fitness director who will go over everything you need to know, from setting yourself up on a cycle bike, to executing a punch and even what moves to expect in Zumba!

Q: Cell phones?
A: Members and guests may use club phone for emergency purposes only. Use of mobile phones are strictly prohibited in all fitness areas. Mobile phones with camera capability are not allowed in the locker rooms.
